To provide an up-to-date experience for users across all devices, the Know Your Stuff® app needed a completely new and secure backend infrastructure. With a current database of over 200,000 existing users, migrating to the new app required a carefully planned, seamless transition.
We also saw an opportunity to expand core app functionality, and create new branding and design guidelines for the app and overall organization.
We developed the app to focus on strategic features to improve user experience. Interface and design updates help new users get started from the onset, and provide contextual help throughout. We streamlined the organization of the web and mobile app to help users quickly find what they’re looking for, and export their home inventory information into downloadable reports.
After updating the app, Know Your Stuff® now allows users to create and manage inventories easily, while syncing across all devices. The analytics dashboard includes easy to read charts for users to see the total value of their belongings at a glance. Users can opt-in to receive location-specific weather alerts for their properties, as well as personalized tips on how to better protect their home and belongings.
