North Devon Hospice

Bravery at 15,000 feet

Five intrepid members of Bray Leino recently undertook our bravest charity fundraising challenge yet.

To raise money for North Devon Hospice, Shellie, Becky, Ross, Nigel and Tamsyn jumped out of an aeroplane from 15,000 feet.

Their leap followed several months of fundraising, including lunch clubs, auctions and assault courses, and comes hot on the heels of last year’s fundraising challenge, conquering the Three Peaks – the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales – which raised thousands of pounds for the Hospice.

The money raised by the skydive team currently stands at over £3,000, with donations still coming in. You can see the team being brave in the short film above.

Bray Leino has supported the Hospice for nearly 20 years. Many of our people having deep personal links to the charity and its work, so as a business we do everything we can to help them meet the £4.5m they need to raise each year. Find out more about North Devon Hospice.

After flinging herself out of a plane for the first time, Becky said: “I can't work out if it’s the best thing I’ve ever done, or the worst. But it was definitely worth it.”
