IPA CPD 2024

Our seventh consecutive year of industry-leading CPD

For the seventh year running, The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) has awarded Bray Leino Gold status for CPD, in recognition of our industry-leading professional development programme. Our consistent attainment of Gold status means we achieve Platinum status, the highest tier of IPA CPD recognition.

We are enormously proud of our CPD programme, which starts from the moment our people join the Agency with a 12 week induction programme, including a new starter kit, a buddy system, departmental induction sessions, and a welcome dinner to bring together new faces and senior team members. In addition to offering external training opportunities, we provide a varied programme of learning for all staff across the year – this extends beyond skill-based, tapping into Agency culture, our values, and the wider industry. We also actively support our people to pursue self-led learning. And because we believe that learning is such a fundamental part of performance, we have integrated it within Room to Grow – our approach to performance development.

On awarding Bray Leino Gold status, the IPA judge commended our commitment to enhancing the employee experience, and said: “The company's commitment to CPD, and the benefits that come with that, are evident through a comprehensive internal learning program tailored for junior staff, complemented by substantial investments in leadership development and coaching for senior personnel. Good job Bray Leino!”

Kate Cox, CEO, says: “Our IPA CPD status is massively important to us – sending a clear message to the industry and our people about our commitment to individual professional growth. We want every member of our team to feel inspired by the business and the opportunities to learn, and to achieve their own version of success – empowered to make big decisions, take smart risks and take on new challenges with curiosity. This investment in our talent is a major contributor to our staff retention, which is well above the industry average.”

This coming year will see us continue our commitment across three key CPD areas: role-based learning, cultural learning (both Agency culture and the wider industry), and inspiring our people. New initiatives include a calendar of learning opportunities, and a special programme dedicated to sparking and supporting inspiration.
