The commendation recognises our ongoing commitment to nurturing and retaining talent and how this benefits Agency growth, securing Bray Leino as an industry leader in professional development.
Rewarding talent and providing opportunities to grow is intrinsic to our values, and one of the reasons we have a staff retention rate of 90% against an industry average of 70%.
CPD initiatives at Bray Leino include a structured and supportive onboarding process, appraisals and reviews, and coaching and leadership training. We also offer a variety of health and wellbeing activities, such as yoga and summer fitness sessions. Developments this year include increased investment in Wellness—our internal well-being initiative, which saw a number of our team qualify as Mental Health First Aiders. This investment has proven particularly beneficial during the testing circumstances of Covid-19 lockdown.
The IPA commended our “excellent entry, which effectively conveys Bray Leino’s grasp of how its CPD activity is an extension of its aspirations and ethos. The combination of objective calculations of the benefits realised from learning and development activity are effectively given texture by the variety of persuasive testimonials used to bring the submission to life.”
Bray Leino CEO Kate Cox says: “Our industry-leading CPD programme is embedded within our company culture. Our people are our greatest asset, so for us to continue to thrive, especially in these difficult times, it’s essential that CPD is, and remains, a core strategic and investment pillar in our business.”
