Bumper donations for North Devon Hospice

Marie Fraser (second from left), North Devon Hospice Head of Marketing and Comms, said: “I couldn’t believe the amount of bags and boxes when we walked into The Roost... absolutely fantastic!  We took your donations straight to St George’s Road, where two of our lovely volunteers started to unpack everything as soon as it arrived. 

“The vast majority of every pound we raise is spent on caring for our patients," she added. "So every single thing you’ve given us will add up to making a real difference for local families. Thank you very much!”

Bray Leino’s Nikki Dyer (third from left), said: “It’s great to be able to support such a worthwhile cause and this is just one of a number of initiatives we're running this year. The response from people has been tremendous; we didn’t know if it would all fit in the Hospice van when they came to collect it, but we just about managed.”

North Devon Hospice provides personal care and helps patients and their families try to cope with life limiting illnesses. The organisation is completely charity-funded, and has to raise almost £4 million every year just to maintain its vital work.
