Bray Leino + MX named a top 5 global B2B Agency
B2B Marketing has released its 2025 Global Benchmarking Report, ranking the biggest and best global B2B Agencies. The report lists our transatlantic Agency partnership with The MX Group at #5. We also rank #5 Global Agency for B2B brand.
This latest ranking sees us rise a place since 2024, despite the leaderboard revealing turbulence in the wider market. Private equity investment and holding company acquisitions are swallowing up mid-sized B2B Agencies, driving a widening gap between giant global players and smaller boutique Agencies – which ultimately means less choice for global B2B brands.
In the midst of this reshaping of the industry’s power structure, Bray Leino + MX are proud to offer what the big networks can’t: a flexible, specialist, deeply embedded team that’s right-sized to the needs of modern marketers. Our model - Global Agility – is a purpose-built partnership of best in class Agencies for B2B companies navigating complex global challenges.
Kate Cox, CEO, says: “Our Global Agility model provides companies with global reach, flexibility and a team accountable for growth. Our partnership was specifically built to celebrate each client’s uniqueness - and in a market where consolidation is eliminating choice, we believe our offer is more valuable than ever.”
The absorption of formerly independent Agencies into larger networks means several previously top-ranked independent Agencies are notably absent from the 2025 list. Ledger Bennett’s acquisition by Havas, and the continued integration of Merkle B2B under Dentsu, are emblematic of this trend.
In fact, this year the number of ranked agencies affiliated with either a private equity firm or a holding company has doubled.
“Consolidation is no longer a trend. It’s the dominant force shaping the B2B marketing landscape,” says Tony Riley, CEO of The MX Group. “But there’s a growing cost to scale - and Clients are starting to notice.”
While consolidations add instant B2B capabilities and revenue streams to parent companies, they often come at the expense of sharp market positioning and category expertise. Once-distinct Agencies begin to look and feel the same, making it harder for Clients to identify true specialists.
With AI disrupting execution, and procurement driving cost pressures, the coming year is likely to separate those with true differentiation from those relying on size alone. The question is not just who will rise in the rankings -but who will remain relevant.
