Golden Wonder is back on TV with a bang after unveiling a brand new advertising campaign designed to shake up the category. On launch, the campaign was chosen as 'Ad of the Day', by the creative editors at The Drum. In Your Face!
Devised by the strategic and creative masterminds at Bray Leino, the new ‘In Your Face’ campaign emphasises the new and improved taste explosion of Golden Wonder’s three hero flavours: Salt and Vinegar, Cheese and Onion and Sausage and Tomato.
The superior taste of Golden Wonder crisps is the key focus, in contrast to competitor brands that have come to rely on entertainment over product quality.
Launched in Scotland, the brand’s birthplace and homeland, the six 10 and 20 second ads ran in hi-profile slots, supported by trade press, social media, in-store activation and consumer PR activity.
Golden Wonder chose Bray Leino as lead agency on brand creative, strategy and media following a competitive pitch earlier this year. This face-bending taste bonanza of a campaign, with the new tagline, ‘In Your Face’, is just the beginning.
