About the role…

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Performance Specialist to join our team, reporting into our Head of Social Media. This is a brand new position so it’s a fantastic opportunity with lots of potential to grow and make the role your own.

As a Social Media Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evolving our clients’ Social Media strategies, with a strong focus on paid performance, measurement, reporting of KPIs, data analysis and campaign optimisation.

Ideally, you’ll be based within the South West so that travel to the North Devon, Filleigh office is doable as and when required. High levels of flexible working will be offered as we envisage this role to be a mix of home and office based working.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Social Media, with a strong focus on Paid Social Media strategies and continually evolving Bray Leino’s approach to best practice
  • Ability to plan, promote, analyse and optimise Social Media posts for best performance
  • Develop, implement and manage our client’s social media strategies
  • Define the most important social media KPIs and develop scorecards/dashboards for how they will be measured and reported to clients
  • Manage and oversee social media campaigns and performance
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns, including the development of performance reports, dashboards and scorecards
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Support wider, cross-functional campaigns by providing specialist Social Media expertise
  • Lead the day-to-day management of Social Media campaigns
  • Build and execute Social Media media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Deliver Social Media Analysis, reporting and insights to the Agency’s clients
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

What we are looking for….

  • Proven working experience in Social Media marketing or as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Excellent analysis, methodical, consulting, presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social network experience and knowledge of social media analytics tools
  • Adequate knowledge of wider digital marketing and analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Excellent understanding of social media KPIs and commercial measurement
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferably, knowledge of data presentation packages such as Google Data Studio, MS Power BI or Tableau
