About the role

As a Paid Search Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid search campaigns to drive high-quality traffic, maximise conversions, and support revenue growth. You’ll manage budgets effectively, refine targeting strategies, and apply data-driven insights to enhance campaign performance.

Working across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, you’ll ensure paid search efforts align with overall business objectives and deliver measurable return on ad spend (ROAS). Collaboration is essential—you will work with internal teams and external partners to develop effective ad creatives, optimise landing pages, and shape audience strategies.

This role contributes directly to maintaining our competitive edge by staying current with digital marketing trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Paid Search Strategy & Execution: Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and other key platforms. This includes keyword research, audience targeting, bid strategy, ad copy development, and A/B testing to drive performance and scalability.
  • Performance Optimisation & Budget Management: Monitor and analyse campaign metrics to identify areas for improvement. Optimise budgets to maximise return on ad spend (ROAS) and implement automation, AI bidding strategies, and performance-enhancing tactics.
  • Analytics, Reporting & Insights: Track and report on KPIs such as CPA, CTR, and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics and SA360. Translate data into insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams, clients, and external partners to align paid search efforts with broader marketing and business goals. Support the creation of high-performing ad creatives and landing pages, and share expertise on industry best practices.
  • Innovation & Market Awareness: Stay current with paid search trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and relevant regulations. Test emerging formats and channels to identify new opportunities and drive innovation in campaign performance

What we are looking for...

  • Experience managing paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Knowledge of keyword planning, audience targeting and campaign management.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, and SA360.
  • A track record of managing budgets effectively and meeting campaign goals.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and with clients or partners.
  • A proactive approach to learning and staying informed about changes in the digital advertising landscape.
  • An understanding of relevant industry regulations and advertising standards (e.g., PAGB) is beneficial but not essential
