About the role

Bray Leino Media are a highly experienced team of media professionals; media & commutations planners, strategists and channel specialists responsible for media trading.  We cover all channels on and off-line; print, digital, out of home, radio, cinema and TV as well as creative media solutions and partnerships. We work with clients as part of a ‘full service’ in conjunction with the Bray Leino creative offering, as well as media only business, working with clients direct. We’re currently recruiting for a Digital Media Associate Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working within the digital media team and media department. Focussing on one client to support their digital efforts across select countries within EMEA
  • Creating & implementing data led digital media strategies, but with a particular focus managing paid search campaigns through Google and Amazon Advertising console, programmatic and social.
  • Building trusted and credible relationships with all key client personnel acting as a senior digital media point of contact. Developing thorough understanding of client business, products, markets and audiences and commercial challenges.
  • Actively managing digital media executives (direct report) and support the head of digital media in managing the wider team.
  • Lead by example with best-in-class campaigns (digital media team), work with off-line media planners, client services teams to ensure that digital media is integrated with other channels. Ensuring that creative and strategic outputs are aligned with the campaigns.
  • Understanding, assimilating and challenging, if necessary, the brief. Setting digital media goals and objectives.
  • Taking full responsibility for the development of the digital media communications strategy applying appropriate strategic or tactical solutions depending upon the briefed communications objectives.
  • Assisting Head of Digital media in driving innovation through technology, negotiating network deals and representing the agency at industry events.
  • Assess digital media and ROI performance to drive learning and demonstrate effectiveness.
  • Assist in Management of the team administration and billing for overall clients, identify and resolve billing discrepancies as needed
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead communications and digital media strategy for new business pitches

What we are looking for...

  • Possess a thorough understanding of all digital media’s key channels, including Programmatic, Social and Search
  • Display a strong drive to be proactive, with your own informed point of view, striving to deliver the highest quality of work in the most efficient way possible.
  • Ability to both work as part of a team or independently as required by the business.
  • Experience of developing strategic digital media proposals.
  • Experience of working with creative and planning functions to deliver strategies and campaigns that deliver objectives.
  • Excellent understanding of the industry and all modern practices.
  • Confidence and ability to build relationships with clients of all levels of seniority.
  • Experienced presenter with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Possesses the ability to assimilate information quickly.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities that build agency revenues.
  • Ability to traffic across programmatic desks such as Google 360 suite
  • Execute campaigns across social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, Twitter
  • Execute campaigns across paid search channels such as Google AdWords, Bing
  • Certified & accredited in either Google AdWords, GA, Facebook Blueprint or Double Click. (If not will need to work towards these accreditations.)
