Like a horse and carriage

In the past we’ve worked with pioneering bread makers Vogel’s to create the concept of ToastTones, as well as conducting a National Toast Census and uncovering the formula for the perfect slice of toast.

Recently we’ve been working with them on our latest innovation – the Toast ‘n’ Tea-O-Tron 3000, an ingenious device which might just revolutionise the way you think about the marriage of bread to humble cuppa. You can see some of the ‘Tron in action at the top of this page. more

Fruits of summer

What better way to enjoy the fruits of summer than in the great outdoors? And lucky us, we got to spend it picnicking with Shloer, the sparkling juice drink. Throughout the hazy days of late June and July we were delighted to be able to deliver the sampling programme for their delicious new limited edition Summer Fruit Punch.

If a Job’s worth doing

Congratulations to St Austell Brewery, whose Proper Job ale has just won gold as the best bottled beer at the Great British Beer Festival.

The annual event, held at Earls Court in London, is run by the Campaign for Real Ale. It’s the second gold in as many years for our client, to whom we will be raising a glass of the stuff.

We are golden

It took Thatchers a century or so to bring their lovingly-crafted Somerset ciders to the small screen. But it has been worth the wait. We worked with Thatchers last year on a new TV ad that talks about the care and craft that this family of cidermakers takes with the golden stuff. It also hopefully makes you slightly thirsty, without really knowing why. Have a look and see what you think. more

Cod put a smile upon our face

Hilsener fra Devon! We are delighted to say that from an initial pitch list of 14 agencies, we have won a two-year contract from the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (NSEC UK).

We will be helping to bring sustainable Norwegian seafood to the UK dinner table through an integrated trade and consumer campaign targeting food service, supermarkets and that most British of institutions – the fish and chip shop.

Toast the toast

Last night saw our work for Vogel’s up for not one, but two, separate awards. Up in Manchester we were delighted to accept the Fresh PR Integrated Communications award for the ‘Love Toast, Love Vogel’s’ campaign. Whilst in London the Vogel’s ToastTone app received a Merit for the MAA Best Creative Writing Award.

The campaign launched six months ago and we’ve used packaging, media, social networks, pop-up sampling, a new website and of course the Toast Tone app. We had loads of fun with a really interesting brief for a great client – what’s not to like?
