Like a horse and carriage

In the past we’ve worked with pioneering bread makers Vogel’s to create the concept of ToastTones, as well as conducting a National Toast Census and uncovering the formula for the perfect slice of toast.

Recently we’ve been working with them on our latest innovation – the Toast ‘n’ Tea-O-Tron 3000, an ingenious device which might just revolutionise the way you think about the marriage of bread to humble cuppa. You can see some of the ‘Tron in action at the top of this page. more

Teenage dream

We thought there was something familiar about Harry Hitchens, the youngest contestant on the new series of the BBC’s Young Apprentice. It was something about his plucky, yet charming nature and devilish good looks which reminded us of someone…

Turns out 16-year-old Harry is the son of our very own Director of Marketing, Marc Hitchens, who (understandably) is one very proud papa. Harry beat thousands of other young hopefuls from around the UK for a chance to impress Lord Sugar and make the leap from classroom to boardroom. We’ll be cheering him along Monday nights.

Box fresh

Our creative agency has done some sterling charity and environmental campaign work this year. Our pro-bono work for Fareshare won a Silver at the Fresh Creative Awards for its clever bin bag bow-tie invite to a dinner, aimed at highlighting how much good food is wasted each year in the South West.  Our Fit For School poster campaign for Sustrans, aimed at encouraging children to cycle or walk to school, was also awarded a Bronze on the night.
