Ibuleve

01 May 2007

Ibuleve, the no.1 selling painkilling gel, is about to hit the small screen with its biggest ever commercial, built around the million-selling 1995 hit ‘I Believe' by Robson Greene and Jerome Flynn.

The 40' spot brings to life the actual lyrics of the song: ‘every time I see a newborn baby cry, or touch a leaf, or see the sky...', evoking the freedom of movement that backache, rheumatism and arthritis sufferers can get from Ibuleve pain relief. Shot by leading director Elliot Naftalin on location in Teddington, the commercial - created by Bray Leino - features a cast of 40 and was shot in one seemless take. The brand has retained its famous endline ‘PAIN RELIEF WITHOUT PILLS' ever since the launch. Ibuleve remains the only painkilling gel which, clinical trials have confirmed , can be fast and effective as pills at fighting pain.

The new commercial, which will air from May 1st until the end of June 2007 on ITV network, Carlton TV and Channel 4, is set to make more consumers than ever believe in the power of Ibuleve.
